Bg-Spaces The St. Regis concierge recommends the following local attractions:

Bg-Spaces Seminyak
Near the Resort, Seminyak is the top area for fine boutiques and dining.

Uluwatu
Uluwatu lies at the southern tip of Bali in the Badung regency, boasting one of the oldest temples in Bali, Pura Uluwatu. Experienced surfers seek the waves here, but for those who stay on land, Uluwatu offers a wonderful vantage point to view a spectacular sunset. Warungs, or small restaurants perched on the cliff offer a comfortable spot to survey the vast Indian Ocean beyond and below the 100 meter high cliffs with panorama on three sides.

Tanah Lot
An hour away, one of Bali's most important sea temples, Tanah Lot, is built atop a massive rock, surrounded by the sea. Built in the 16th century, Tanah Lot's rituals include paying homage to the guardian spirits of the sea. Poisonous sea snakes found in the little caves at the base of the rocky island are believed to guard the temple from evil spirits and intruders.

Ubud Art Village
Known as the "village of painters," Ubud is rich with galleries, craft-shops, restaurants and bars. Guests may enjoy an evening stroll here, taking in the grandeur of Ubud's royal palace, with its resplendent gates and fascinating architecture. Pasar Ubud, the food and handicraft market is also a main attraction.

Besakih Temple
This grand complex of 22 temples is spread over three square kilometres (1 square mile) on the slopes of Gunung Agung where the Balinese believe the spirits of their ancestors live. It offers a fascinating look at the past as well as modern Indonesian Hinduism.

The resort is pleased to offer the following concierge services:
